Believe or not this is a relatively healthy dessert. All those fresh berries are so good for you and the Angel food cake is so light and airy, just perfect soaking in the berry juices. And hey, a little white chocolate pudding in the middle of all that adds just enough creamy goodness not to mention topping if off with a few dollops of whipped cream.

So you don’t have a fancy trifle bowl, me either, this is an old punch bowl. Works just fine, for what we needed. They always have big glass bowls at our local resale shop for only a couple dollars vs up to $50.00 for one.

Perfectly patriotic for celebrating our country’s birthday or a sunny summer weekend!
