The Liebster Award provides new bloggers a chance to connect, and encourage others who are new to the blogging world. No matter what your niche is, we can learn from each other.
My inspiration for starting a blog at first was to have a record of my favorite recipes. I love exploring flavors from around the world and trying new recipes, as well as old favorites that I remember having when I was a child. So sharing recipes on my blog is a way to share what I love and to help teach others who are newer to cooking. It’s not easy trying to balance having a young family in such a busy world. Having a home cooked meal is a time to gather together and reconnect with each other. Not everyone can afford to go out to dinner all the time and not everyone can afford to order dinner in a box to heat up. I’m afraid a lot that are living that way might wish they’d have saved some of those dollars one day, because you never know when times might get rough again.
When you cook your family a dinner, you pour your love into it. They might not appreciate it today, but your helping them make memories, especially if you find a way to allow the little ones to help with little things. You look into their eyes and have conversations, so you know your instincts when something might be bothering someone. You know to ask more questions if someone had a bad day it teaches empathy. It teaches respect and it lets them know they can share anything with you when you engage on a daily basis.
So it started out just saving recipes, but it really comes down to sharing a little bit of yourself with the world, being authentic, planting seeds, and growing along the way!
The Liebster Award 2017 is an award that exists only on the internet, and is given to bloggers by other bloggers. The earliest case of the award goes as far back as 2011. Liebster in German means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.

There are a few steps you have to take as you accept this award:
1. Write a blog post about how and why you’ve started this blog.
